The specialist short break operator Bike Weekender have built upon a successful 2018 Summer, and are already looking forward to Summer 2019 with a full programme of road cycling weekends in an expanded choice of locations across France.
Between May and October guests can choose to ride the classic Tour de France cols or a wide choice of superb road cycling routes in the French Alps, Provence, Mont Ventoux and the Cote d’Azur.
With a full summer programme of Thursday to Monday 4-day weekends, these holidays are available to book for individuals, couples, groups etc. Small groups of just 6 people can take advantage of a fully customised solution with longer tours also available.
Bike Weekender’s philosophy is one of convenience and service, allowing maximum time on the bike with minimum hassle. To this end all Bike Weekender’s packages include:

Bike Weekender’s home are the Aravis Mountains - set back in the hills behind Lake Annecy - around the traditional mountain resorts of La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornand. All regular locations for epic Tour de France action and 2018 featured the classic mountain stage (and Etape du Tour) from Annecy to Le Grand Bornand.
Their own chalet-hotel base is just an hour away from Geneva and provides a perfect home-from-home for cyclists, with so many great routes available from the door. It sits at the foot of both the Col des Aravis and Col de la Colombiere – both regular Tour de France climbs.
Prices start from £395pp for the ‘Lite’ weekends and £545pp for the fully-supported ‘Classic’ weekends.
